AECI supports cooperative engineering program
A $20,000 gift from Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. Springfield-based AECI provides electricity to approximately 910,000 homes, farms and businesses through 51 local electric cooperatives in Missouri, southeast Iowa and northeast Oklahoma. OGS member Tim Bradley addresses new S&T graduates
OGS member and S&T trustee Tim Bradley, PetE’77, talked about the excellence of S&T graduates during winter commencement ceremonies in December. “Every person my company hired from S&T was shovel-ready and did a superb job. S&T students and alumni never cease to impress me,” said Bradley, the retired president of Houston-based Kinder Morgan CO2 Co., who also endorsed the benefits of failure. “My experience has taught me that failure can open doors and many times can be a blessing,” he said. “The important thing is how you respond when you experience your moment of truth.” Read more about his commencement address.
